- John P. Vazquez is a retired Elizabeth, NJ Police Lieutenant with over 30 years training
experience. He is a 7th degree Black Belt in Combat Isshinryu Karate and a member of the World Karate and International Association
of Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
- John was one of the first International PR-24 Instructors in the country and a principle
founder of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) He is a published author of numerous articles and training
manuals, and is an Advisory Boardmember for Police Magazine and the Monadnock Police Training Council
- John is also
the designer of the Jova Mini-Formation System which utilizes small units to manage unruly crowds, a by product of his extensive
training in Advanced Crowd Confrontation Management with the 759th Military Police Battalion, Fort Dix, NJ
